From what I've gathered, it seems as though the problem from screen flickering issue that quite a number of people have experienced with their new imacs (especially with 27") comes from ATI graphic cards.
There has only been very very few who had flickering issue with the base 21.5" model which has NVIDIA 9400 in it.
There are reported same issues with ATI in PCs as well.
