Caution: element Vapor & atomic case with Beats by dr dre tour ear buds proplem !

A friendly reminder for those who has a iphone 4 case that's a bit chunky at the top earphone connector alike the element vapor or the atomic case.... Because all the latest Beats by de dre tour have the "right angle" earphone jack ( instead of straight in) !!!!!

Unless u can modify the case by widening the opening for the jack ;-)
Fortunely for me , the hybrid material of the atomic case wasn't too tuff !-)

they make 1 inch long straight in adapters that will fit in all case so you dont have to modify your 80 dollars case. they are cheap to radtech makes some.

can you still use the iphone controls on the headphones if you use one of these adapters?

My Sennheiser IE 8i's right angle plug works perfectly with the atomic hybrid.

Yep the beats/monsters are trash, do more research if you want to get decent IEMs.

regarding the ear buds themselves... they are the best !

the thing is that you need a tight fit ... fortunately i got a hold of the
Comply T-400 Foam Tips from Radio Shack and these solved any problems:
comfortable and the sound is just amazing (your fav. music collections will sound so much better/different!)
I love the clarity and the thumping/tight bass.

but without perfect fit , these ear buds would sound like sh....t.
the ones provided in the box did not work for me at all.
