Greetings,
Very recently on my MacBook Air, the laptop is running very hot with high fan usage. I see that CbOsXSensorService is consuming 99% of the CPU. This doesn't happen immediately but recurs after rebooting the computer. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Thanks,
JW

MacBook Air (early 2014)
1.7 GHz I7 processor
OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

Sounds like you are running the Carbon Black AV service and it is not compatible with your OS version. Uninstall the AV suite and the issue should go away.

Thanks. This may have been pushed from our IT department. I will check into whether I am "allowed" to remove it.
