Is anyone successfully using CCC 4 (carbon copy cloner) to backup their startup drive as well as other external hard drives to a single destination backup drive?

I found this on their support pages: https://bombich.com/kb/ccc4/i-want-backup-multiple-machines-or-hard-drives-same-hard-drive but want to be sure it does what I want before paying for a license AND eradicating my existing TM backup data.

On a side note, anyone have experience with CCCs SafetyNet feature?

The idea is that you would have each source volume on its own partition on the destination. So if you want to clone the OS volume then also and external drive to one drive, you would want to make one partition for each on the destination drive.

I have not used the SafetyNet feature, but just from reading on here about others using it, it seems to work as advertised.
