I use ccleaner on my PC to clean up crap on my compter, is there something similar i can use on my macbook.

Thank You

OS X does it by itself at 3am with a daily, weekly, and monthly routine. just close the lid when you're done with it in the evening and let it go to sleep. it will awake and perform those procedures on its own when scheduled then go back to sleep.

OS X, specifically the UNIX foundation it is built on, it designed to stay on unlike Windows, which is designed to be powered down after use.

I generally use a formulation made by Rain-X as it is ammonia free, very mild, and streak free. Some people use a diluted vinegar solution as well.

Oh crap, I thought you were talking about cleaning build up off the computer as it does get gunked up and you want to use a safe cleaner. No sarcasm was meant.
