Okay then.

Dual-gig mirror-drive-door computer, always booted up in OS 9. Has been happily burning CDs using an old version of Toast (3.something), and also happily burning using the Finder.

Suddenly stops doing these things: Unknown Error. Usually gets part of the way into a burn (like 35 seconds or something), then stops.

Has both an internal SuperDrive and an external SuperDrive (equivalent, made by Phillips). Both have the same problem.

Yesterday, I installed Toast Titanium (just in case that was the problem), and when it installed it moved the the DiscBurn extension into the Disabled Extensions folder, which caused me to remember that I should have done that myself, and that that was probably what the problem was all along.

CDs burn fine - for a day.

Now: Crashes, every time I start to burn.

Any tips? Any known problems with Toast Titanium running in OS 9? What should I try to make it work?
