CD copying with cdrdao, cd driver/scsi ids?

I am attempting to do direct audio CD-to-CD copies with cdrdao, which I installed from macports. I get errors because I am not using the correct driver and scsi address ids on my 10.6.1 macbook.

Can someone who has successfully used cdrdao to copy CDs please help me know what I need to know?

I have some linux experience, but mac *nix has some differences.

You can copy CDs using the Disk Utility.

*Audio* DC copy not allowed by disk utility.

Even though mac help screens claim (or at least imply) that you can use the disk utility to copy audio CDs, on my macbook 10.6.1, the actual disk utility specifically prevents copying audio CDs. There are a number of posts on the web about this problem. cdrdao seems like a good [Linux-proven] work-around, but I am still struggling with setup on the mac.

If someone has a way to do this with the Snow Leopard disk utility and has *actually tested* making copies of *audio* CDs, I would appreciate knowing how.
