LukeDeFian macrumors member Dec 5, 2007 40 0 Jan 19, 2008 #3 most likely a bad driver... if the Eject is good, there is no mechanical reason to the Insert to be messed up, since the mechanical is the same to both ends (i think so) soo, guess it's a bad driver software... maybe a complete re-install? I don't know any other solutions, but I think you should do a little more research, and leave the re-install for last resource. Booya!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH my leopard disks aren't in this country (in an office in amsterdam). ****. at least its software failure and the mechanisms fine i spose ah well, cheers for helping anyway guys
