This has been going on for a few weeks now. My Apple CD-RW drive, came with the Quicksilver, has been making a clicking noise very similar to the dreaded ZIP drive Click of Death. Normally, I'd just think it was reading the CD (it doesn't sound too abnormal) apart rom it clicking 5-6 times in a row. I've put up with it for now, except Jaguar has begun to lag (swirly beach ball) when the clicking starts. (this doesn't happen in OS 9) has anyone else had this problem? CDs still read fine, Toast seems a little slower because of it, but it may be my imagination. If my drive is on it's last legs it would only make sense, as I waited till 4 days before school to fix it. Thanks for any advice.
