Hello,

This had been a problem for me since a few hours ago, I have no idea why.

Every time I insert a disk into my drive, it basically gets stuck in its weird loop of trying to read the disk, and eventually pushes out the disk or just continues to just make small spinning noises time to time, and gets stuck.

I've restarted my computer a few times, but no progress there.

This hadn't been a problem since a few hours ago like I said, until I inserted my Pro tools disk. It first went fine, then I clicked 'uninstall', then tried to click 'install'. Went into "Not responding, force quit". So I basically forced the disk out, re-inserted and it just went into this stage.

I purchased my macbook pro early last year, currently running the latest snow leopard (if any of this is relevant..)

Any way to fix this? :S

Thanks
