the cd/dvd drive on my PowerBook G4 stoped working. when i put any type of disc in all i get is the clicking noise of the drive trying to read the disc but not being able to. after about 20 seconds of this the disc ejects. i reset the Power Manager but it didn't help. any advice, or do i need to buy a new disc drive.

Sounds like your drive is dead, I'm afraid. But google around, there's a forum I can't remember off-hand that is specifically geared for optical drives, they might be able to help you. Good luck!
