CD/DVD Drive

So I got a MacBook Pro for Christmas, and I've got a tonne of DVDs with photos on that I'd like on my computer.

I was thinking of getting an external dvd drive, but the reviews on Apple are awful.

Has anyone else got a drive and what do you think of it?

Just buy a cheap pc USB drive.

Go to amazon and get a USB, they're very inexpensive at this stage

External USB optical drives are such an inexpensive purchase nowadays that there is really no need to dwell on it. Just open up Amazon and grab the cheapest model with decent reviews.
