Does anyone know of some good disc labeling software for the Mac? Preferably freeware?
Yes, we might be able to help
but your Profile provides no useful information about your
"Computer" and your
Laser Drive: SuperDrive, Combo, CD only (Yamaha), none?
OS (X, Jaguar - Panther, 9.2.2, etc.)
"Printer", are you
planning to print directly on CD/DVD discs or are you
going to use paper labels?
How often are you planning to label CD/DVD discs,
what kind of usage (backup, music, data, work, etc.)? Is there a
Fry's electronics store near you in Texas,
what major city do you live/work near (Amarillo or Austin)? etc. etc.?
What kind of image software to you own (Photoshop, Elements, MS Word, Roxio Toast or Jam, etc.)
What kind of Labels are you planning to design? (color, text, logos, etc.)

The easy answer is go buy an Epson R200 for $149
which will let you print directly on "Printable" CD and DVD discs,
disc design software included FREE
. However, the upgrade to full version is $20.

MS Word includes FREE labels (lame) in their
Menu > Tools > Labels > Options > Avery Standard CD label 5824

Numerous products bundle DISCUS Label Design software which can be upgraded for only $20

Download DEMO version of DISCUS 3

If you want cheap, search Downloads.com or VersionTracker.com (OS X)
look for freeware.
