Ok, I'm re-ripping my CD collection to iTunes (at better quality, and complete albums as I have more space now) but every ten CDs or so a disc won't be recognised when I insert it. The disc goes in, but it doesn't appear on the desktop, in Finder/iTunes and, more importantly, I can't eject it either!

I have tried re-launching Finder, no good. I have to hold down the power button for 6 seconds and reboot. Then the disc, which is already in, is recognised. everything else works on my mini, but as I am trying to get through my large CD collection I have to stop whatever else I am doing and restart.

Any ideas? Is there a terminal command I can type to eject the disc? (when I press eject on my keyboard the first time the eject sign comes on the screen, subsequent ejects it does not)
