Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I couldn't see a more suitable forum.

I have 2 10 year old CD-Rs with music on them that I wrote and don't have any other copies of. One of the CDs mounts but won't play any of the audio tracks. The other CD does play the tracks, but with 'scraping' noises. The first CD will not even copy the data to my HD without crashing Finder, although it can see there is stuff on the CD. Neither CD has any visible damage, this just appears to be age degradation.

I've done some Google searches and there's tonnes of apps for PC and mac that claim to offer file recovery, but can anybody recommend one that may specifically solve my problem? Ideally free too. Thanks.
