just posted this in an apple.com forum. Let's see who responds first....

I keep reading that there is no way to add info to a CDRW without erasing the whole disk and starting over. Or doing a multi session burn using disk copy which sounds like a pain. This is a major disappointment considering my old PC running win98 can use CDRW disks just like a floppy disk. I just drag and drop a file and eject and it's on there. I can add or delete files at lesure while never having to completely erase the disk. What's the deal? Why can't I do this on my Mac?

3rd party burning programs should be able to be able to do this. If not it's a large issue since no new macs come with and internal 3 1/4" bay for a zip drive, etc...

Well it IS an issue on my 12" PowerBook. and the only 3rd party software I've found to do it says it's for "Mt. Ranier" capable drives. I don't even know what that is.
