I've been slowly ripping my CD collection. One CD in particular has given me tons of grief. It plays fine in a regular CD player, but it's unrecognized by a Cube or an iBook. I don't think it's copy-protected, because it's a 1992 CD. Any ideas on how to rip it?

One thought: it's an extra long CD: 79 minutes. Could that have something to do with it?

Are you using Error Correcting when importing?

Sometimes if the CD is scratched it will just get ejected straight away from the Mac but it will play in most other CD players. The slot-loading machines seem to be more susceptible to not play nicely with slightly damaged discs.
