Ok, so I was working on a Flash project at school and when the period was almost over, I burned everything I had changed to a CD-RW.
About 15 minutes ago, I tried to copy the newer file to my HD, but the CD won't mount. Of course, silly me deleted the source file on both ends so instead of losing 1 hour of work, I lost about 3.
Is Disk Utility, it tells me (when I click 'Verify Disk') that
"Invalid B-Tree node size"
Can I get my file back or am I just way behind schedule now?
I knew I should have checked the CD after burning it, but I didn't want to miss my bus.
Also, is there any way I could recover the info on the CD without spending money on over-priced software?

Thanks for your concern,
Reality

Seems to me this is a typical cdrw problem. What software do u use to burn cdrw?

i'll try it on other computers later today, after school. i burned it directly from finder. i also tried to delete the cd info.plist file, but it was non-existant.
i'll try it on other computers and repair permissions (you never know) after school, around 4:30 PM EST.

i tried repairing permissions and opening the cd in windows. neither worked. in windows, i can see the file but when i try to copy it to the hd, it says file cannot be read from source.
i'm not going to erase it yet, i want to at least try it on the school iMacs even though i am sure it won't work.
can't hurt to try.

any help would be appreciated,
reality
