cd's from magazines?

Do any of you use the cd's that you get from the MAC magazines? I was wondering how good the applications are on them?

I buy them so that I can learn about macs before I even get one. If they aren't any good, i will just throw them away. As of right now I am saving them.

Usually they're just a compilation of demos. If you have dialup, I'd save them. But if you have broadband, then they are of no need, and you can just download the programs online.
