My macbook is a little less than a year old and I noticed today that my battery health has started to go down (about 95% right now). I'm at around 270 cycles right now and I was wondering if I could take it into the apple store and if they would do anything for me? I know for a fact they say that my battery shouldn't be going down until it hits 300 cycles... anyone have any idea?

I believe the criteria they consider is that the battery shouldn't fall below 80% up to 300 cycles. 95% is still pretty good. I have a six week old Macbook (last generation) that started at 96%, but has actually gone up to 97% at about 11 cycles.

You're fine, stop worrying.

95% isn't any issue....if you're over >80% by 300 cycles you're fine. If you're worse than that, that's the criteria for replacement.
