Description of the CelGo from the CelBot Website
CelGo is the perfect cell phone or GPS holder for your car. Unlike other car phone holders, CelGo lets you put your phone or GPS device where you want it, within reach but clear of your driving vision!

CelGo features our exclusive Flying Clamp which is a unique and minimalist cell phone clamp. The Flying Clamp will firmly & gently hold your phone while remaining in the background and out of the way.

The Review

Packaging:

The CelGo comes in a white box. Inside of the box is an instruction manual, a cleaning cloth, and the CelGo itself.

The CelGo:

The CelGo has a Flex Arm with a suction cup attached at one end and the what CelBot calls the "Flying Clamp". The combination of both allows it to be used in a variety of vehicles mounted low and out of site while gripping your phone without the need to have to push a button to close the clamps.

Shown below with iPhone 6 in OtterBox Defender Case; I mount my phone at an angle so for me having the grips in the center works perfectly however the grips are generally suppose to be holding the bottom of your phone (where your home button is).

My Impression:

I have been using this in my 2015 Subaru Legacy for the past 3 months now and I love it! I have tried everything from windshield mounts to CD slot holders both magnetic and the normal grip holders.

The suction cup is easily mounted low one the windshield and out of your field of vision (at least better than other windshield mount holders are. Because of the Flex arm the location where you can put the phone is pretty much limitless. I have the phone exactly where I want it in my car; it is still accessible for GPS use (please do not text and drive) and easily viewable.

Depending on what type of road I am on the phone will vibrate slightly (shake) however as the arm is resting on your dashboard it adds support to the phone so the shaking is very limited. The phone is gripped tightly and does not fall out of the holder.

You can pick your phones orientation either vertical or horizontal which is also very nice.

In the end you gotta ask yourself; do you want a mount that is out of the way but puts the phone right where you want it? Do you want to avoid using 3M stick tape on your dashboard to mount a suction cup mount to? If you answered yes to any of those I would highly recommend giving the CelGo a try.
