Cell phone cases

I want to know why do people make some simple as buying a phone case so complicated. I work in the wireless department at Walmart and there is always one person that has to open up 10 different phone cases. Then will ask me do have any unopened in the back. They do not want it because its opened they say I wanted to see what it looks like on my phone.
