This is the first year when the cell carriers are not allowing 12 month upgrades for primary lines.

I know that means that for the first time since the iPhone 3G I will not pre-order on the first day and won't get a launch day iPhone (boohoo)

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks 450/550/650 is too much for an upgrade after getting the 4S on launch day.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel that here are a decent amount of annual upgraders out there who may choose to wait until May 8th for their full subsidized price

If launch sales are down or even just marginally higher than 4S then Wall Street could give APPL a beating.

AAPL has been the golden child for quite some time and I'm sure some speculators are looking for it to dip at this point.

If that happens it could be the beginning of the end for the Apple RDF :apple:

... Until iPad mini .. the must have item for the holiday season :p

No really ... Thoughts?
