Is this the same as a 3G toggle? I have it turned off while at home and connected to wifi, and the phone seems to work fine. I just hope I remember to turn it on when I leave the house on the morning.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I just noticed this a few minutes ago. Screenshot attached.

It's not really the same thing, as Cellular Data turns off all data - 3G switch only turns off 3G: EDGE still works.

Yes it just turns off data. Its still connected to 3G and will make no difference to battery life or anything. No point in turning it off.
