Today, for the first time I got a cellular error message unable to connect as it searches for a signal. The attached are the 2 messages I have recorded. It seems to be a hardware issue, after an hour with apple help I had to make an appointment to take the phone in. Possible e sim issue? Anyone encountered this?

From the first photo did you do the update?
I follow the instructions in the link. Plugged it to my mac and checked for updates, it scanned my phone and said everything was current. I havent tried to factory reset. I imagine since they have an article on this it is a known problem and is likely something with the hardware. We will find out on Sunday.

Did you try resetting network settings (Settings/General/Transfer or Reset iPhone)?
