Cellular plans for iPhone4s

My grandmother is about to open up another line for me on her cell phone plan with AT&T and I plan on getting the iPhone4s.
My question is how much is the phone going to cost when I buy it? Everyone keeps saying $600 but I know that's not right because we're opening a new line.
Also, does anyone know how much it is to start? I know the line itself is $10 and isn't it $30 extra because it's a smartphone?
And how much do you think my bill would be every month? I'm sure we'll share minutes and have unlimited text and probably 2GB of data.
Any ACCURATE information would be greatly appreciated.

The base model (16GB) 4S would run you $199.99. Add $100 to that for every jump in storage capacity there is above that.

As far as the bill, I assume this is a brand new line? If so, there will be $10 "add a line" added to the monthly bill, assuming it is already a family plan. If you already have this "add-a-line" (ie something like a dumb phone already on the plan that you just plan to upgrade) then you would just have to add the data package. I don't believe they offer a 2GB data package anymore. If you wanted something in that range it would be 3GB for $30.

Yes, $199 is the price of the phone with a 2-year contract.

The pricing structure on Verizon is very similar. They do offer you slightly better (different) data plans though. $200 is the on-contract price of the 16GB iPhone 4S for all US carriers.
