I have the S3 cellullar/LTE, and when I left the house earlier this week I saw a signal strength indicator on the watch face. Today I ran out but didn't see the indicator or icon. I'm using the same watch face, so not sure why it's no showing up. FWIW I still had LTE connectivity as I could make a call from the watch. It's not critical but was nice to have & see when not on WiFi.

The cellular strength only shows up when you are out of range of both your phone and wifi. If you had your phone with you, you won’t see the cellular signal levels.

as far as I know, they only shows up in explorer face
Those dots only appear when you're on cell. On wifi and bluetooth they are completely gone and not just dimmed out.

they're also at the top of control center,
is it possible you had swiped up, and might be mis-remembering where you saw them?

Yep, I've been using Explorer for the past week or so. I know I was just looking at the watch face, not Control Center when I saw the indicator before. I distinctly remember the four circles below "12" and above the center point, but didn't see them today. I didn't have my iPhone with me, and since I was driving I doubt I was consistently in a WiFi hotspot.

Not a big deal, just curious. I might try to restart my watch and see if it comes back next time I'm on the move.

Appreciate the replies!

EDIT: to follow up, the four dots just reappeared. Very strange as I'm in my house, next to my iPhone, WiFi running strong, and voila - there are the dots! I'll blame electronic gremlins for the monkey business...
