centerim Bus Error

This may be a little far fetched, but I'm looking for a centerim user. It's a terminal executable IM client.

It can run on a FreeBSD platform, so I managed to successfully compile it on my Mac (12" Powerbook, OS X 10.5.1). Everything should work perfectly, but when I actually try to run centerim, I get a 30 second hang, and the following error message:

Bus Error

I couldn't find any information on this bug in centerim's documentation. Have any of you tried to run centerim on a mac before? Is there a solution to this cryptic snafu?

Hi!!
I have used CenterIM on Mac before and it worked fine! But now that yahoo has stopped support for its Ol' messenger, I downloaded the new CenterIM 4.22.4 and it gives me the same error...Hangs after 30 seconds with Bus error...Did anyone solve this yet?
