I had created a certificate in 10.6.8 and the provisioning profile worked great, now i wanna do it from another macbook with 10.8

i exported the certificate, i saw it asks for 4 different options .cer, .pem, .p7b, .p12 out of which .p12 is disabled.

i exported it as .cer and it did not ask any password ! {i remember couple days ago only p.12 was option and it used to ask for password !}

i transferred and installed it in 10.8 macbook, but the provisioning profile says no valid keychain pair found.

what's the issue here and how to resolve it ?

regards

Hmm... are you trying to export your developer certificate from Keychain?

It's easier to use the "Export developer profile" option from the organizer window in Xcode. This way it saves everything you need (all your provisioning profiles and certificates) in one convenient, password protected bundle.
