Cesaria Evora dies aged 70

Smoked like a chimney, drank like a fish, sang like an angel. I'm glad I got the chance to see her at WOMAD a couple of years ago. She will be missed.

This saddens me greatly, I always enjoyed her music.

Never heard of her but after reading the bbc article and listening to the embedded song she sounds like an interesting women with a great voice that will be missed by those who know her. RIP.
