Just managed to bag a black sport band with silver trim for my silver sports watch. They had one in stock but have many other bands for sale on there for a small premium over Apples prices but they're in stock ready to ship.

Just giving a heads up in case anyone else in the UK was interested in Apple straps but struggling to find them for sale.

Obviously they're second hand but all 'A' quality.

Thanks for the heads up. Will keep an eye on prices and availability of the leather loop bands.

Mine in Lincoln has signs up asking for them and saying they will sell lol - they seem desperate!

Did they mark up the price a lot as Gametronics were charging like £150 on top of retail lol

I saw my first Apple Watches today in CEX.

They had a couple of 38mm Sport models in the window they were selling at £425 for the case only and the straps were sold separately for £45.

Wow. Might as well wait until June. For straps, May isn't that far way, and aim not desperate for them like I was for my watch, so don't mind waiting.

I intend to sell me white sports strap to them. So swapping to a black sports band has cost me £5. Not bad !

Milanese loop sold for £150. £20 mark up? Not bad in reality

Apple can swap them for free.

EDIT:

Oopsy, made a mistake. Disregard this post.

With silver trim? Thought you could only swap like for like ie sports space grey band trim band?

Also that's within 2 weeks - isn't it?

Either way I'm not fussed. My nearest Apple Store is 30 mins drive away. Saved me the hassle of going up there and paying for parking/fuel etc.

Good find OP! Heading out tomorrow to pick up a white sport band. Fed up of waiting.

Thank you. They had a Milanese 42mm earlier. Was very tempted. Gone now

Thanks again for the tip! Picked up a white strap today from Shephard's Bush.

Great Spot - Thanks.

I've ordered a black Sports band, 42mm at 2.30 this afternoon and already had notification its been posted.

Order with Apple promptly cancelled.

It's ~£5 + some postage to get it a bit earlier.

I have ordered the white sport band from Apple and it ships in May - so in the next few days or so. Might as well save £5 and wait it out lol
