Hello all,

So I currently have an EyeTV 200 connected to my PM via FW400 and a LaCie Big Disk connected via FW800.

The PM may be moving downstairs, the EyeTV needs to stay where it is, and the replacement machine is (potentially) a Mac Mini (Intel).

It only has one FW port! I have to connect that to my ACD (making two) to which an iSight is connected. This still leaves me with one port. I could chain the eyetv and the hard drive together but...

... the hard drive is the location of the EyeTV recordings. Obviously anything to do with the mac mini is done at FW400; is there enough bandwidth for the video to come through the eyetv, be sent to the Mac mini, be sent out from the mac mini through the eyetv to the lacie drive?? Does firewire do the Right Thing and send that data directly to the hard drive? (I doubt it)

Is this even a possibility or do I need to try something else?
