Chance of getting the 256GB Plus Friday

at a local Verizon store with no preorder. I want either of the 7 Plus blacks in 256GB.
Have to do it at a Verizon store as I have an $849.99 Explosive Note 7 to return.

Do I have a chance in hell of pulling this off?
 
While there is a chance but the chance of getting the model you wanted, especially if it's jet black is slim to none. You could technically be first in line only to be told that they didn't have any Plus models.

get to the store the day before ask the employe if the know if they have the model you want(they usually get them the day before). If they can say ask them again they should give you some kind of hint. If it looks like they have it set up shop outside of the store and wait till the next day. If the phones haven't arrived yet get there phone number and text them the next morning when there arrive at the store.

better to go to a smaller out of the way Verizon corporate store or the Big Fancy Smart Store?

Is the Jet Black the hottest selling model? I thought the Flat Black was the hottest one.

Apple store shows that if you were to buy Jet black, you will expect to receive it around November. But I think it's just inventory for the Jet black. but I think Matte Black is the hottest one imo
 
In my area for people start to line up at 9pm. For the 6 launch I got in line at midnight and was 7th.
 
So the iPhones the stores have are for the people waiting or for pre orders?

Everything I pre ordered from Verizon in the past was shipped to be from Verizon.

The phones shipped to the stores are for walk ins. Basically wait in line as long as you can.

I'll be returning the Note 7 at the same time and needing my 2 year Upgrade reinstated. Sounds like a fun filled day.
 
If you were going to a flagship Apple store in Palo Alto, SF, NY or Tokyo, maybe.. But Hooverville? No chance with Apple itself out of JB's until November.
 
In all my years of iPhone buying over never had a local carrier store (I only ever check the carrier stores to which I'm s customer st the time) have any of the upper capacity phone on launch.

If you want it your honest to go best bet is going to be Apple and early.

Of course there's a chance buddy! Just get there early and hold them up at gunpoint. Easy enough!
