iPhone 16 Pro Chance of new iPhone 16 Pro Colour

I'm considering buying an iPhone 16 Pro (Have a 13 Pro atm) but the colours are dull.
The 13 Pro had a nice Green version which came out in March but I don't think this has happened since, is that correct?
Anyone any idea of the chances of something nice in a few months?

I'm a bit in the same boat. I chose black because it looks the most modern with sides and bezels blending in just like the dynamic island. Natural titanium looks boring and time-sensitive (gonna look outdated as soon as 17 is out), white looks cheap in my opinion and a bit boring as well, mostly due to those matte silver sides..

I've opted to go the skin route and ordered a red skin for the backside. Should be a nice contrast with black sides and front. Will see how it goes.

Afaik the pro green was out from the beginnings in September.
Spring was only the normal 13 which got green

It's much more difficult to anodize or use other coloring techniques and achieve a consistent color on titanium, and the ones that are available tend to not be bright options. I would assume Apple is not going to do a mid-cycle color refresh on the Pro because of this.

that's a very weak excuse. Back of the phone is glass and the side rails do not have to match (they don't anyways)

Correct the Alpine Green was show publicly on March 8, 2022, and available for pre-order on March 11, 2022 with at launch date of March 18,2022.

I would vote there is a Zero chance before the fall launch of the next iPhone series.

the Yellow iPhone 14 was released in March '23. The 15 did not get a new spring color, so there is a slight chance the 16 might get a new color but I wouldn't bet on it

Absolutely no idea. Considering that there are no rumors regarding it, a new colour might not happen. But if at all a new colour is to be launched, expect it to be available by March or April. Colours on the Pro model are muted and not expecting that to change.

Some people don't, and lots of people use clear or partially clear cases. And even for opaque cases, the colour is still usually visible on the rather prominent camera bulge and around cutouts like for the speaker and charging port.

I have the blue titanium 15PM and hate the color. I ordered a dark purple skin to cover the entire phone. Hopefully this holds me over while I look for more colors. I will never buy another dark color iPhone unless it’s deep purple.

Nope, March 2022 the entire 13 lineup got a new color, including the Pros. It was the only time the Pro model got a mid cycle color.

I don’t know about your area, but here in EU AppleCare+ replacement doesn’t came for free. And to pay €99 just to replace a broken rear glass, isn’t that good. So I’m using a case and a screen protector on my iPhone.

That purple 14 Pro looks gorgeous, I wish there was something like that this year, all the colours are a bit boring.
I went for the natural titanium for a change and thinking it could go well with different cases.
I'm now trying to choose a case...

There’s a fee here in Canada too but only if you need to use it, thankfully I haven’t had to. I just like the feeling of a naked iPhone and plus I get the biggest screen with the smallest possible footprint.

I’m usually trading in my iPhone when buy a new one (every other year, most of the time), so even if I like the feel of a naked iPhone, I need protection to preserve its value.
