Chances of AT&T having iPhone 5 on the 21st or soon after?

Have AT&T stores been pretty good with receiving new iPhone stock the day of or shorty after after a new iPhone comes out? Are the chances good or bad of getting a black 32GB iPhone 5 either on the 21st or shorty after?

AT&T will have stock on day one at most corporate stores for sure.

Best bet is to just order it and not be bothered unless you enjoy the line experience

The line will be forming outside the store, usually the night before or very early that morning, depending on the location. Last year the store I worked at had plenty of 32GB units. All the 16's sold out by early afternoon Friday, all the 32's by lunchtime on Saturday, and the 64's sometime on Sunday. But it was not a high volume store. We also got more stock for launch day last year than in previous years. Hopefully this year will be the same.

Ah, the mystery question. When the 4S came out, everybody was waiting in line. I went online to order and it came in a few days.

As to the original question, it all depends on how many really want the new phone, and how many Apple has in the supply line.

If the store has 40 of them, and 100 people want them, bad luck.

If the store has 40 of them, and 30 want them, then great.

If the store has 100 of them and 90 want them, then great.

If the store has 100 of them and 300 want them, then, bad luck.

Surely hard to say, isn;t it?

I think the demand will again be higher then supply ... Why do I know ? Even my wife is ready to replace her Android with iP5

I just hope that the big oversea markets get the phone same time
