I wanted to check with everyone here since I've never been at an Apple store iPhone launch. I didn't preorder but want to get a 64gb space gray iPhone 6 tomorrow. I can get there super early in the morning, but wanted to hear what my chances would be/if it would be worth it to do that. Thanks everyone!

i'm guessing stores will have about 20ish in stock that will get handed out first come first serve.

show up a couple hours early

From Apple very slim.

Best bet is going to one of the main carrier's and if poss take out a contract. Or going round any of the main electrical retailers to see if they have any stock of sim free iPhone 6.

Chances?

First tell me what their inventory will be.

Then tell me how many people will be lining up, and when.

Then tell me how many want YOUR particular model.

NOBODY KNOWS

I'm curious as well. I'm buying the exact same model as you. Except I can't get there till 6 PM or so. My chances are much worse.

From info from an Apple store leader in London, iphone 6 stock "plentiful" but 6 plus stock "severely restricted"

Go now. Bring camping gear.

Twenty per store? Twenty? lol iPhone 6+ perhaps that few, but an Apple Store will have 100+ iPhone 6's. Just depends on the carrier, color and size as to if you get the one you want.

They would never have taken per-orders if they did not have a decent amount of stock for their stores. And Apple stores ALWAYS have WAY more stock that a carrier store.

If you're heading to an Apple store, your chances are better but you'll have to deal with a longer line. So, just get there earlier. If you're heading to a carrier's location, they're going to have extremely limited stock so it's going to be a bit tougher but smaller lines.

I'm looking to get 2 64 or 128 space gray iPhone 6's tomorrow at an out of the way AT&T store. I think my chances are good. Lining up at 6am. They had many phones at the 5 launch.

You don't have to go lineup anywhere. Depending on where you are located you could order one from the Apple store online for pick up. You have to be online tonight ready to order by 9 PM pacific time...

Is this really true? I thought this had to be done when pre-orders actually started on the 12th?

Our local ATT store only got 5 6pluses and s decent amount of 6's. I was fortunate enough to be third in line. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1411134015.364194.jpgits friggin huge!

Sounds like either everyone was lying last night or got lied to by the people they called. Everyone was saying that stores were getting zero plusses, but this morning it seems like stores all got at least 5-20. Good to know more people got the phone they wanted.

My AT&T had ZERO PLUSES. Only 14 people in line. Just one person left. Got my 2 -64 gig slate gray's. Very happy.

They had no 128 gig.

10 slate gray, 20 gold, and 20 silver 64 gig.

I got in at 8 AM when my Verizon carrier store opened and purchased one after an hour wait. It was pretty simple and they had everything I needed.
