iPad Chances of iPad Air 2 update on Tuesday?

What do you think the chances that apple does a quick announcement of the iPad Air 2 on Tuesday?

I think it's highly possible because this year it's going to be such a minor update (Touch ID, A8... yawn)

Apple stays in the news longer by having two events. Expect separate events until the end of time.

So apple going to have a desperate separate conference for such a minor update to the iPad Air? Look what they did with the iPad 4, it was barely mentioned because the iPad mini was the new device getting the attention

It could be the one that involves iWatch.
Or AppleTV.
Or fanless Broadwell Macbook.
Etc.

Or any mix. Apple has a LOT of potential products to spread across two keynotes.

For the most part iPad updates are faster, thinner, and lighter and a new shape every other year. iOS updates are a separate thing.

What do you realistically expect that wouldn't be a yawn?

I think apple is done having conferences dedicated to laptops
 
I think Apple has so much insanely great stuff to announce on Tuesday they will need a separate event to do the incredible new iPads justice. The amazing innovation Apple is doing on the tablet side justifiably needs to be a big part of any conversation, and that won't happen on Tuesday.

A tablet that runs OS 10. The mac surface pro.

I think I read a posting on the main page of Macrumors mentioning analyst Kuo (with a good track record) saying that Apple might announce iPad update as well. iPad update was suppose to be minimal with touch ID, laminated display and anti reflective coating. Like any rumor, take it for what it's worth.
 
I think iOS devices (iPhones, iPad, iWatch) will be revealed september 9th.
October will be the month of OSX and amazing new products (iTV? Air Retina?).
 
Supposedly they're announcing the "iWatch" and two iPhones on Tuesday. Seems pretty unlikely that that'll announce a new iPad too. They'd have nothing left for the holiday season.
 
I just don't see it. Apple has way too much to talk about already on Tuesday: Recap of sales, iPhone introduction, showing off iOS 8 apps that developers have created (i.e. custom keyboards, extensions, etc.), talk about mobile payments, iWatch.

I just don't see there been enough time.

September - iOS 8 release date, new iPhone, iWatch

October - OSX Yosemite release date, maybe new Macs, maybe Apple TV, new iPads
