Change accent color along with dark/light mode

Hello!
I made myself a couple of nice dynamic wallpapers that are basically the same scene at day time and at night.
During day time/in light mode the scenes are rather orange, so I have my accent color set to orange. When switching to dark mode, the orange is rather jarring and blue looks a lot more fitting.

Is there a way to make the accent color switch to blue when turning dark mode/when the system switches to dark mode?

I've seen a LOT of people trying to do this, but I have yet to come across a developer that has figured out how to do it. There are plenty of Applescripts that can switch the Accent color, but the tough part is automating it to sync with the Dark/Light appearance.
