I recently was divorced and had received an iPad from her father as a wedding present. Anyway I kept the iPad but it's connected to her iTunes account.
Is there a way to keep any of the photos, apps, music, and videos by somehow switching to my apple account? Can I backup by adding my iCloud account before deleting hers? I don't have a Mac, just pc. Thanks

You can delete her iCloud account and say 'keep' for contacts etc. then sign into your own

However for purchased media if they are on her account you are basically stuck. There is no way to transfer ownership to another account. Whatever is on your iPad will stay until you do an erase although apps will stop updating if she changes the password
