Long story short... I had a cracked version of Photoshop. I now have a legit version I got from my school.

I previously deleted the preferences and app folders for photoshop and ran the uninstaller. I'm still having problems using photoshop.

How can I change the CD key for photoshop? Other adobe apps work fine.

Changing the CD key (serial) in PS will mean modifying PS, which is prohibited via agreeing to Adobe's EULA.

A fresh install of Mac OSX should help, or deleting all Adobe related preferences, logs and other files in the Library folder.

Maybe AppCleaner or AppZapper will help.

I suggest you delete everytihng having to do with cracking. You will be flamed. BIG TIME.

I suggest you read the OP again. The OP had a cracked version and went legit and is having issues with the license. To my knowledge best you can do is format.
