I have had my ipad2 and smartcover since the day they came out (~7 months)

In that time, my cream color smart cover has become only what you could call dingy. I've tried various cleaning methods from expensive leather cleaner to Pledge. Nothing works :(.

So I thought if I could change the color of the cover to black, I would have less issues with its appearance. It looks like a dirty bathmat.

Does anyone know about changing the color of leather? Or have any other ideas of improving the appearance of this eyesore?

Leather dye would also work. Don't artificially restrict your searches. Look into more general leather resources.

Mr clean magic eraser.

I ended up going with black leather dye and sealer. It looks much much better. I'll post pictures when I get a chance.
