does anyone know if the apple store lets you trade your iPhone 6 for a different colour ? (like a refurb one)

I find the white iPhone 6 has less screen contrast and would really like to go back to a black iPhone.

I am afraid not. If you purchased from the Apple store and it is less than a couple weeks old, you can return it for what ever color you want. After that, no. But not sure about the rules in the UK.
