Hello Android users,

Currently when you take a screenshot it gets saved to the desktop if you don't delete it directly. Can this be changed?

It's pretty annoying as I mostly forget I had screenshot and that makes my desktop like a Windows Phone, annoying.

You can change the default folder in Terminal by typing

Code:
defaults write com.apple.screencapture location

Then drag the folder you want to use onto the Terminal Window and press Enter

I'm guessing that you are using the Screenshot app?

When you open it, you can select Options ˇ and choose your Destination.

Let me try that.

You have to drag the folder you want to use for your screenshots onto the Terminal window after you copy/paste the command. Note there should be one space after the code.

The Screenshot app would be in your Utilities Folder. The Key Command you use is just the shortcut that app uses.
