Change default view in Mail

I've looked in all the settings but I don't seem to see any way to change the default sort view for folders in Mail. I like to have the newest emails at the bottom. The default is newest message on top. Other than changing this manually for every single folder, is there some way to change this default?

I don't believe it is possible with the stock mail app.
