Change Dock Background

hey guys, i was wondering how i would go about changing the dock background? like to transparent, or to only having and outline of the dock ?

I use TransparentDock which works on any PowerPC Mac running 10.2 or later.

Works fine, but if you have an Intel Mac, it won't be much use I'm afraid.

Plus, not only can you remove the dock background, you can also change its color.

Oh you poor thing!

If that second program is like the one I used one time (and I think it is) it's very good. It worked fine on my MacBook and it didn't need to be open to work.
