Change file type icon

I want to change the icon for .par2 files (I hate MacPar deLuxes icon).
How would I do this?

CandyBar can do this. You may need to drag the application that created the file into CandyBar to change the icon for that document type, since I think the icon for the files are stored by the default application for opening that file type.

I tried this with MacPar Deluxe.

Brought the icon in and replaced the icon with a different one and now MacPar won't open anymore!
