Hey there, I have recently purchased the new alu macbook, upgraded from the older white macbook...
One feature I used to use a lot on the older macbook was the F11 button to 'show desktop'. (along with F9, F10 and F12 all controlling other exposé features).
However, on the new macbook, the 'F' keys have been altered, with the dvd and volume controls now taking their spot, and now you must press fn+F11 to access the show desktop feature...highly annoying in my opinion, as it now makes this a two-handed operation, instead of one.
My question is how do I alter the 'F' keys to 'show desktop', without the need to hold fn button as well?
I tried doing it in keyboard shortcuts inside system preferences, but it would only allow me to change them with fn.
The F3 and F4 keys now act as exposé and dashboard keys, leaving F5 and F6 'free' so ideally I would like to use one of them for show desktop.
Thanks in advance.
Tom
