Change focus on the iphone 4s?

I have a ipod touch, and the iphone 4s. For a lot of situations, I prefer the fixed focus of the ipod touch.. with the 4s I find myself having to tap to fix the focus all the time.

Is there any app, or any way to fix the focus on the iphone 4s? Really annoying.. (and i don't mean hold to lock the exposure and focus)
