Change iCloud email address

My iPad Air used to me my wife's. When she set up iCloud, she used two email addresses (hers) that she no longer uses. I want to delete her email addresses and enter mine. When I open iCloud in preferences and click on Mail, I can see her two addresses, but I can find no way to delete them so that I can enter mine. Help please!
