Howdy folks, just got my first iPhone ever, the 5 a few days ago. I know apple products well, but was curious as the the lack of ability to change the aspect ratio the camera takes photos in. So my questions are…

1) Is there an obscure way of doing this with the stock firmware that I am not aware of? If not…

2) If I were to jailbreak the iPhone (when one comes out for OS 6) is there a package i can install that will grant this ability? If so, how does that install go about making this change?

If there are no real solutions, I'll just crop to the desired ratio.

I've only done a few minutes of research on this, sorry if I've missed something obvious.

Thanks for the help! :)

Me too.
Doesn't look like there's a way. I hope apple adds it in an update. At least blow up the pictures when displaying on the phone.
